Question: Which is better and which will receive a greater reward, that the Muslim forgives and pardons the one who oppresses him hoping for the Reward from Allaah, or that he leaves the problem unresolved because he will take from his good deeds on the day of judgement?
Answer: No, the origin is to pardon. Allaah Ta ‘Ala says, “And verily whoever shows patience and forgives that will truly be the things recommended by Allaah.” (Qur’an: 42: 43) And as it comes in the narration, “There is no one who is oppressed and forgives his oppressor except that Allaah will increase him in might and strength.” So, you forgive him in this life Allaah will raise you in levels and degrees, and give you success. But, if you don’t forgive him then you have to go to the dispute on the day of judgement. And you could be compensated with something insignificant or small. But, to pardon in this worldly life while you have the ability to do otherwise this is a more beneficial action for you on the day that you meet Allaah Subhana wa Ta ‘Ala.

Shaykh Abdul-Azeez Aal us-Shaykh on saying In Shaa Allaah when making Dua:
Question: Is it wrong for me to say In Shaa Allaah (If Allaah Wills) when making Dua for someone else, for example I would say ‘Jazak’Allaah khairun In Shaa Allaah’ (May Allaah reward you if Allaah Wills)?
Answer: No, you cannot say this. Saying this is not permissible. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings upon him) said, “Let no one say, ‘O Allaah forgive me if You Will, O Allaah have mercy upon me if You Will’ in an effort to resolve the matter because Allaah cannot be forced into doing anything.” And in another narration he said, “Verily, nothing that Allaah gives is a burden upon him.”
Question:
Is it permissible to use stories of the Prophets found in the New and Old Testament as well as other narrations from the children of Israel?
Answer:
Allah the Exalted said,
“Alif-Lam-Ra. These are the Verses of the Clear Book (the Quran). Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran in order that you may understand. We relate unto you (Muhammad) the best of stories through Our Revelations unto you, of this Quran. And before this, you were among those who knew nothing about it (the Quran).”
(Surah 12: 1-3)
And He said,
“Such are some of the stories of the unseen, which We have revealed to you: before this, neither you nor your people knew them.”
(Surah 11: 49)
Therefore the stories from the Quran are not in need of anything else, not the Old Testament or the New Testament, nor any other book. We believe in the other books that were sent down to the Prophets but Allah has sufficed us with the Quran and its stories, so we don’t need any other book.
This Quran is a narration of truth.
“Verily this is the true account; there is no god worthy of worship except Allah.”
(Surah 3: 62)
Therefore it is appropriate for us to take our admonitions, our stories, and our lessons from this mighty book.
As for the previous books, then there time has come to an end, and they have not returned to their previous positions.
Because Allah the Exalted has combined the meanings of all of them in the Quran, so the Quran became superior over the other books, and the Quran has became a replace for all of them.
Therefore we suffice ourselves with the Quran, its stories and its information.
What do you say about the one who says, “We lose the people with the word Tawheed”?
Answer:
This is incorrect. Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah) is that which unites the hearts, and makes the ranks of the Muslims one, and makes the Muslim nation, one nation.
We will not be one nation unless we are from those who worship Allah as One, making our worship sincerely for Him alone.
Allah the Exalted said,“their desire is that you should be flexible: so would they be flexible”. (Chapter 68 verse 9)
Meaning the pagans would love for you to abandon Tawheed (worshipping Allah as One) and for you not to proclaim your disassociation from polytheism; so they would flatter you and love you.
But on the contrary, Tawheed is necessary, and it must be proclaimed and made apparent; and the one who likes it can like and the one who hates it can hate it.
Shaykh ‘Abdul ‘Aziz Aali-Shaykh, from the family of Muhammad ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab rahimahullaah, and the current grand mufti of saudi arabia, explains:
“Anyone who invites another person to oppose and rebel against the obedience of those in leadership and not to listen to them, then assume the worst of such a person in that hes a hypocrite and a wicked sinner.”
Question to Shaykh ‘Abdul-’Aziz Bin ‘Abdullah Aele-Shaykh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Committee of Senior ‘Ulema [religious scholars] and Chairman of the Department of Scientific Research and Iftaa’ about what the hukm is regarding listening to anasheed:
Refutations WHY? By The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Committee of Senior Ulema [religious scholars] and Chairman of the Department of Scientific Research and Ifta [guidance]- Shaykh ‘Abdul-Azeez Aal ush-Shaykh (سماحة المفتي الشيخ عبد العزيز بن عبد الله آل الشيخ – حفظه الله تعالى)
Also listen to Shaykh Salih bin Fawzan al-Fawzaan (الشيخ صالح الفوزان) and some students of knowledge laughing at the ridiculous statement of Salmaan al-’Awdah, i.e. that the Islaamic ‘Aqeedah can be taught in less than ten minutes!?!! Shaykh al-Fawzaan specifically states that this contains “…a belittlement of the affair of Tawheed.” And the refuge is with Allaah from such foolishness.
Beneficial Reminder From Sheikh Saaleh al Fawzaan Concerning The Danger Of The Eloquent Speech Of The Callers To Misguidance:
The long Hadith recorded by Imam Bukhari {(rahimahullah)Vol 9, No:7084.}—on the authority of Huddhaifa Bin al-Yamaan (radiyallaahu anhu), concerning the evils that will appear until there appears callers to the gates of hell-fire, and that whoever will respond to their call will be thrown by them in the fire. These callers will be from our own people and will speak our language.
The Messenger (sallal-laahu alayhi wasallam) said: ”They(i.e. these callers to the gates of hell-fire) will be from our own people and will speak our language”
Sheikh Saaleh Al Fawzaan said: This is Calamity!! Indeed, they are close to us. They are from our community and country. Had they been foreigners, had they been from America or other than it, the affair would have been easy. However, the problem is that they are the son/s of so and so, and it may be that they say, ”I am a scholar, and I have with me shahaadaat ilmiyyah (i.e. proofs/certifications of my being a carrier of knowledge)…and I am…. and I am….
They are from us and they speak with our tongue. They are Arabs like us; rather they possess eloquence. When they write, or deliver a speech, or a lecture, they speak with our tongue just as Allah said concerning the hypocrites:
”And when they speak, you listen to their words” (Al Munaafiquun 63:4)
They possess eloquence that grabs the attention/overwhelms the listener. The listener listens to them because of their eloquent speech. The Prophet (sallal-laahu alayhi wasallam) said:
”Indeed some eloquent speech has the influence of magic”(e.g., some people refuse to do something and then a good eloquent speaker addresses them and then they agree to do that very thing after his speech) (Bukhari Vol 7. Hadith No: 5146)
They speak with our tongue (i.e the Arabic tongue). Had they spoken with a foreign language or the language of the Persians, there would not have been inclination towards them. However, the problem is that when they speak with eloquent speech/good style of speech, the people are lured towards them. This is from the height of fitnah.” (Ref: Sharhu Hadiithi inna kunnaa fee jaahiliyyatin of sheikh Fawzaan, Page 35-36
Therefore, O Sunni Salafi, ponder upon the words of the Allaama Saaleh al Fawzaan (hafidha-hullah) and ask Allah for firmness upon the sunnah. Be neither bewildered by the great numbers of open callers to shirk and innovations from among the 72 destroyed sects upon opposition to the way of our salafus saalih, nor join those so-called eloquent speakers of the parties and organizations upon haraam unity and tolerance of false methodologies. (Be they Ajami or Arab).
We ask Allah to guide us and them to that which pleases Him (subhaanah)
